They had a Banquet 宴会 on the Coast 沿海
An Enkai 宴会 is when you go out for food and drink with your colleagues after work. Enkai are super common and important in Japanese work culture. They have a more relaxed atmosphere, but are still an extension of work. There are a lot of rules/manners to learn. For example, you have to offer to pay for your meal and wait for the boss to say that he'll pay. This shows that you don't take his kindness for granted.
